Okay! I made a few changes to my blog, gave it a name and title, and then sent it off. I think this one went well. Phew!! I still cannot export my Avatar. I given up. Guess I won't have one. I've tried 4 times. I am sure it is user error, but I cannot figure it out!
I was already registered on Eduphoria, so I felt good about that. Now we shall see how the rest goes. I am still very tentative about all of this. But I know I need to learn more and experiment (play) more with technology. Charge!!

Thing #3
71/2 habits in action. My frustration has set in and I am on the verge of stopping. I cannot figure out the gadgets for the blog, I can't figure out how to export my Avatar to my blog, and overall, I am overwhelmingly out of my comfort zone. I had anticipated that this would be fairly "simple" since there are instructions to follow, but it "ain't that simple." Guess I will do without an Avatar until I get past the frustration and am willing to spend a few hours trying to figure it out. I'm feeling claustrophobic since I keep hitting roadblocks. Enough whining.
Thing #2
As I read the 71/2 "habits" I couldn't help thinking of my husband. He is all of this personified. He uses all of this when working with his young PM's and trying to get them to step up. It is a huge battle, daily, but he keeps trying. To me, just as for my husband, beginning with the end in mind is the most important idea here. It governs the entire process of whatever you may be working on. With no end in mind, how do you determine your plan of action? My husband has 3 questions he asks when someone has "failed." What did you do? What did you think you did? Why did you do what you did? Thought provoking to say the least.
The most difficult for me is viewing problems as challenges. I don't like being "inconvenienced." So, if something does not work according to plan, my frustration often hinders my progress.
